State Shifting:
The Art of Living from the Best of Who You Are
with Judith Ansara MSW
Our effectiveness and joy are impacted by our reactions to all the external situations and internal experiences that we encounter, including our health, our work, our thoughts, feelings, and our relationships with others. Unless we can learn to resource ourselves in our own internal power and clarity we will be, to one degree or another, at the mercy of these reactions.
(FYI: For those of you working in prison dharma....we include 'state shifting' in our 'Path of Freedom' curriculum as a key tool in building emotional intelligence skills with prisoners).
The content of this webinar will include:
-Triggering: learning how to recognize what throws you off balance
-Tracking and understanding the source of your emotional triggers.
-State shifting: The skills and practice of moving from a triggered to resourced state.
The teaching methodology will include:
Cognitive grounding; experiential work and on-going practice instruction; Q&A
