Prisoners and Teachers

Hello All,

One of my Pen Pals mentioned how he wished that he could have a teacher. I thought, well, there must be some way to hook him up with a teacher who would be willing to write to him every now and again. Does anyone know anything about this? Any insight on how to get this guy connected with a teacher who would write him?

We have a dharma mentor program now with experienced meditation practitioners. The prisoner can always write to us and request to be put on the list for a dharma mentor.

Hi Karmalashila, We changed the name of our program due to issues we were having with the name 'prison pen pal' which generally implies something about romantic connections and 'dating'....the focus of our program is dharma and contemplative practices.
