Invite
Invite friends interested in Prison Dharma! Click the "Invite" tab and follow instructions provided.

My Page
Here is where you house your content, see your "wall" of postings, and manage your profile.To reorganize the layout of boxes, simply click and hold on a header of a box and move it around. Some boxes need to stay in certain columns and you won't be able to move them. Others you can. You can change your them as well...Make your page your own!

PDN Members
Here you can see your fellow community members. You can search by name for friends.

Conversations
These are areas for open dialogue on all aspects of prison dharma...join the conversation! Anyone can start a threaded conversation within the forum. Click the “Quick Add” drop down menu on the upper right side of each page and select “Conversation”. To see all conversation posts, go to the tab "Conversations" at the top of each page.


Events
Prison Dharma events and trainings are be listed here.

Blogs
Blogs offer a way for you to directly publish your news or personal reflections or insights with the community. To add a blog post, click the “Quick Add” drop down menu on the upper right side of each page and select “Blog Post”.

Picture and Videos
Anyone can add pictures and videos that relate to experiences of prison dharma to the community. Click the “Quick Add” drop down menu on the upper right side of each page and select “Photos” or “Videos”. Go to “My Page” and on the right column click “Photos” or “Videos”. To add an album to showcase a whole set of related pictures, from your “My Page” in the left column, click “Photo Albums”.

Feedback

Adding a Profile Picture
Please post a picture by following these steps:
-On the top toolbar click on "My Page"
-Under the icon (graphic black/white image of person sitting) on the left column click the link "Change my picture"
-Then click a small icon in the center of the page with your details called "your picture"
-An upload window will open
-Browse your hard drive to select an image and click 'add' to upload
-Click done.
-Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'save'

Changing Privacy Settings
Clicking on "My Settings"(upper right column) Click "Privacy and Email Settings" tab
You can allow everyone to see your postings (blogs, pictures, videos), or only your friends, or only yourself.

You can also choose settings for each individual post you make. For example if you want your postings to be viewable by only your friends, choose that setting.

Please note that this network is already a private network --meaning outsiders can ONLY view the content on the main page, they must sign up as a member to view the entire site.

How To Blog
Click the tab for "My Page" Click the link in Quick Add
" Blog Post"
Give the blog a title..and type content in the large white box.
Formatting tools: "bold" and "italics" are at the top...select text and click the format tool of choice.
Add hyperlinks by copying an url, then highlight the text in your blog that describes the url...and click the icon that looks like a link.
Add an image to your blog with the icon that looks like a picture. Position your cursor where you want the image to be...click the image icon, browse for the image on your hard drive and insert.

Controlling Email Notifications
Do you ever wonder if someone has replied to your comment or your post? Well, you can get an email notice letting you know. First: you can control what type of e-mail updates you would like to receive (there is an option to receive no e-mails) go to "My Settings" upper right box...then look for the link on the left that says "email"...adjust the many levels of notifications there. Another way to get notified..is to look at the bottom right of any thread...there is a button for 'notify' or 'stop following'...click it to notify. You can also do this process with any groups you are a member of
