I think I should better send a short note to each of them about you and how to contact you if they have any ideas about jobs. Hi, Christina: I am wondering what kind of work you are looking for. If it were appropriate I would contact 2 or 3 friends in the Springs to support you in your job search. But it's not like they could hire you. One of the works as a translator (Spanish) at the county courthouse and jail and another woman substitutes for her when she can't make it. Have you considered something like that at least to tide you over? Oooh, please tell me if I'm being a, what is it?, rescuer. Interfering? I just know how important your stability will be for your son. And I want you to know how much I am trying to hold your well-being, and his, in my meditation space. Juanita

I don't know why I only now (August 16) received your comment and your interest in maybe working with my son's sangha. It seems to be dated in July. Oh, well, immaterial as long as you don't think you were ignored.
How to tell you the "more"? My son's name is Jesse Kaufman. For about 5-6 years he was at Sterling. A couple people "thought about" volunteering to meet with a sangha there but it's a 2-hour (?) drive from Boulder and although two different people met with my son as visitors, and one talked to the Sgt.(?) in close of volunteer programs, nothing came of it. He finally got to lead one without volunteer help. (I think I'm out of space)

Have you been able to share the liberating power of meditation work with him as you learn? I too have a son in prison. I keep looking for someone who would volunteer to meet with the sangha he leads in prison. They are in Colorado, and many Buddhist friends know about him and admire his work. But I do not know of anyone in Colorado who helps Buddhists in the Colorado prison system. Do you?
