- I am an online member of BSWA.org.au and recently joined PDN. In June I plan to attend a Vipassana retreat at http://www.bhavanasociety.org/. My next planned activity will be a 10 day Goenka-styled Vipassana retreat. I'd love to hear from other members who have attended a Goenka retreat.
- Tell us about yourself & your interest in prison dharma: (answer required) .
- I work in IT at Virginia Tech and hold a M.S. in Corporate and Professional Communication. The degree has been used to enhance some of my work with my current employer and I've done some outside work with clients. In the future I'm hoping to find a communication job somewhere at the university but until something opens that is a good fit in a stable department I'm happy where I am. I love reading and learning about any number of topics and have played classical violin since ~1975. The teachings of the Buddha have enhanced my life for about a decade now and I have practiced sitting meditation for several years.
