Tell us about yourself & your interest in prison dharma: (answer required) .
I have spent the last 5 years applying my professional intentions and efforts to the betterment of at-risk youth who are actively involved in the system. Prior to that I had one year of volunteer work with incarcerated youth. My interest in the prison dharma network is two-fold. First, I believe your organization is doing positive work and I am excited to review it. Second, I believe it can assist me in the work I am doing with youth. I have recently begun the process to restart my meditation group in the juvenile hall here in Cincinnati, while I still continue to teach mindfulness skills to the individuals who I do therapy with; teenagers in residential care.
