Tell us about yourself & your interest in prison dharma: (answer required) .
I am a meditator and began work as a psychiatric nurse in my areas county jails two years ago. I've led a women's group to meditate but it flickered out due to my hours being very limited. Now, however, I have accepted an assignment at a much bigger facility. I would like to extend my practice, and help the prisoners learn about mediation and Buddhist principles which I use in my work with them already.
