Hi, I am Carter. I am administrative staff and the Books Behind Bars coordinator here at Prison Dharma Network. I started working here in October 2011 after spending a year as a resident at Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe. I have an M.Div degree from Emory University and I did my Clinical Pastoral Education at Metro State Women's Prison in Atlanta, Georgia, which is a maximum security facility.

Carter, thank you for the warm welcome to this group.  I must confess that I am not tech saavy or terribly interested in blogging myself, but I am very interested in the work of PDN and related groups/orgs.  Is PDN working in San Quentin (just across the bridge from me) or in Contra Costa County where I live?
