I was wondering if anyone here had suggestions on any resources in the Denver Metro area concerning housing for recently released inmates. I know someone who has just been released and is having trouble because of a very old sexual offense. No apartments will accept him because of this offense. I am a holistic healer, practicing Thai Massage, Therapeutic Massage, and Reiki. For the past ten years I have practiced yoga and am going to Naropa University for a degree in Traditional Eastern Arts. Through Thai Massage I have studied Buddhism and some forms of meditation such as Shambhala Meditation. My aim with the Prison Dharma Org is to get more involved. My brother has been in and out of jail and prison his whole life, and many of his troubles are out of line. I believe there should be reform in our system going more for healing and rehabilitation, instead of chains and violence.
