Since January, 2007, I have met every week with a group of Buddhist inmates at Tomoka Correctional Institution in Daytona Beach, Florida. There are now about 20 inmates attending the meetings, which a Zen monk from a nearby county has also begun attending part of the time.

I have been leading an informal meditation group in DeLand, FL since 2003. My foundation practice is Theravada (I spent a brief period as a monk in the Dhammayut order) but my practice and our meetings are pretty ecumenical. I'm currently enrolled in Bright Dawn's lay ministry program.
