Pake Hall commented on Riki Sarah Dennis's blog post Conditioning, Transsexuality, Attachment & the Dharma
"For me it sounds strange to interpret the sexual/gender indentities as pointing to some "inner existential reality" in a form of a "self". In my experience it rather points to the fact that the true self is an empty self. That…"

I practice Zen with Sante Poromaa sensei and Kanja Odland sensei. We belong to Cloud Water Sangha with Rochester Zen Center and Chicago Zen Center in the USA. I've been Sangha leader for Gothenburg Zen Center for 6 years and (lay) ordained in the 3 Jewels Order since April 2011. I have been giving introductions to zazen, dharma talks and supporting people in their practice at Gothenburg Zen Center for 6 years and been thinking about working with the Dharma at prisons for quite some years now. My hope is that we will start a group here for Swedish prisons within a year.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm a student of sensei Lawson Sachter of Wind Horse Zen Center in Alexander, NC (but I practice at Clear Water Zen Center; we're a "satellite", as it were).
