My Prison Dharma Group or Organization: Buddhist Prison Chaplaincy Organisatio-UK

Tell us about yourself & your interest in prison dharma: (answer required) .: I am 42 years old. I have worked as a Buddhist Minister in the UK prison service from 1989, until 2006 (with the odd break here and there). I continue prison Dharma work via the written word - primarily with inmates in the USA. In the UK, a prisoner's details are not allowed into the public domain as such, as this is viewed as a security risk, etc.

I am a lay-monk of the Chinese Ch'an tradition. My ordained name is Shi Da Dao, and my birth name is Adrian Chan-Wyles. I have been in contact with the Prison Pheonix Trust, and actually taught Chinese Yoga (Qi Gong) in UK prisons for a brief period in the 1990's.
