Tell us about yourself & your interest in prison dharma: (answer required) .
I am a middle and high school English language arts teacher and recent transplant to the Bay Area. I am currently working with incarcerated youth through the Beat Within, a creative writing outlet for incarcerated teens. I have had an interest in mindfulness meditation for years and have a daily meditation practice. I would be interested in learning about mindfulness meditation being done with incarcerated youth or adults in the Bay Area and how I might get involved.
