Thanks Kate (& Gary)!  I'm teaching a course this semester at University of the West (Buddhist Chaplaincy Program) in So. Calif. -- on "Buddhism and Recovery from Addiction" I have been sober for 25+ years and have been meditating for a long time...  I'm also on the Board of the Buddhist Recovery Network [ http://www.buddhistrecovery.org/ ] and of Buddhist Global Relief [ http://www.buddhistglobalrelief.org/ ] -- i sent Gary a link yesterday to a report I just came across in preparing for my class -- it's from Columbia University's CASA program and I'd be interested to hear comments/ evaluations?  http://www.casacolumbia.org/templates/PressReleases.aspx?articleid=592&zoneid=79 -- Thanks again for the welcome!  -- Tom

Hey Kate, where did you want me to post the post release info?  I have KC's's rules and regs right in front of me--shhew, Hardcore Zen.  I'd rather lean a bit more tibetan/mahayana/aspiering vajrayana. Our place would provide focus, but less ridgitity.  I know KC pretty well, I am unsure if he remebers me though--lots of inmates etc.

If you can call me 2386-490-6059
