- I serve as a volunteer Buddhist chaplain at a state penitientiary for men at Soledad, CA. Our weekly program has been running since January 2003. These days about 70 men sign in for an evning of meditation instruction, a short talk, and discussion, followed by a 1/2-hour yoga class that is very capably led by inmates.
