I have been reading DEEP & Simple, Bo Lozoff, as when I visited a prison Chaplain last January, I had my eye on some of the available books to take with us [inmates],and I asked the Chaplain to select a couple of books for me, that would aim to a Buddhist approach. He chose the very book that first caught my eye,"WE'RE ALL Doing TIME".I have been oh so glad he chose that and very glad Bo and Sita are who they have been this lifetime ..power tools for a balanced life.I have kept reading re reading and using the book as a work out to meditations, and by reading the inmate letters and their responses, gaining more insight and peace and love for sharing in this part of the world..
peace love ,NAMASTE. Tim

 Hi Carter,

indeed a practice and work book, easy enough and interesting enough to get a person to try meditation and "keep it Simple " then add more deeper types as we are committed to feeling improvements to stress and moods.

smiles and peace always
