My response when a classroom discussion touched on love!

And that "omega point" transcends seems to be present in other sacred traditions:
In Shambhala Buddhism, our core is "bodhichitta, awakened heart, or basic goodness" (Gimian, p53, Shambhala Sun, March 2011), In Christianity "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." - , 1 John, Chapter 4:16, and in mystical Islam "To Love is to reach God," (Rumi).
Despite all the uncool armor we wrap ourselves up in, often causing abominable behavior, we humyns grok love. That makes me really hopeful for our species!
