PDN Staff member Richard Sylvester represented us at a gathering that included a limited number of representatives from the Buddhist, Hindu, Jain and Sikh communities, and was an opportunity to meet with representatives from a number of cabinet departments and agencies, including Dept of State, Dept of Homeland Security, Department of Education, Department of Justice and others.  

The focus was  on service – especially with an eye towards how our Dharma-based faith communities are providing services to communities.  This was offer a chance to make first-hand contact with government representatives and to network a bit with others from the community of Dharma-based faith communities.

PDN is honored to be included in this historic event held at the White House on April 20th.
